Sustainability & ethics

What we do, and what we aspire to.

A calm, factual page. Current practices are listed separately from roadmap items, and we never claim certifications we do not hold. If a line moves from “working toward” to “today,” the change will be dated and the source linked.

What we do today

Verifiable, current practice.

Each item below is something a customer can observe in the parcel they receive or in the architecture of how we operate. Nothing on this list is aspirational.

EU-local supply chain

The warehouse sits in Cuijk, Netherlands, inside the EU customs union. Parcels for EU destinations do not cross an ocean and do not pass through a third-country re-shipper. This is verifiable from the customs declaration on every outbound box.

Vegan-friendly material

The peptides on this site are produced by solid-phase chemical synthesis. They are not extracted from animal tissue. This is a fact about how peptide synthesis works in practice rather than a marketing certification — we are not a certified-vegan brand and do not claim that label.

Animal-testing posture

Our suppliers’ audit reports state no animal testing is performed on the synthesised material we receive. We treat that as supplier-reported information — we do not run those audits ourselves — and we are actively seeking suppliers who commit to the same posture in writing.

Reused shipping material, where it makes sense

Outer cartons and phase-change cold packs that arrive intact from inbound shipments are reused for outbound parcels when the cold-chain rating still matches the route. We do not reuse insulating material that has lost integrity, and we do not pretend that every parcel is reused — only the ones where it is logistically sound.

Privacy-by-design

Customer data is collected only where it is necessary to fulfil an order or meet a legal obligation, and is processed inside the EU under the GDPR. The full posture — data inventory, retention windows, sub-processor list — is documented on the privacy page.

Catalog discipline

A small catalog moved fresh is, in practice, more sustainable than a large catalog with stranded inventory. We deliberately stock fewer SKUs and we do not chase trend compounds. Less waste, less storage energy, fewer rejected batches.

What we are working toward

Roadmap and ideas, clearly labelled.

The items below are not in place today. They are listed here so a reader can see the direction without us claiming progress we have not made. “Roadmap” means committed and being scoped. “Idea stage” means under consideration only.

Roadmap · 2026

Carbon-footprint per order calculator

Per-order estimate based on parcel weight, route, and carrier mode. Targeted for 2026 because the carrier-emission data feed is the gating dependency.

Roadmap

Offset-shipping option at checkout

An opt-in carbon-offset add-on through the carrier’s verified-credit programme. Listed on the shipping page as “coming soon” and only goes live once the partner integration is signed and tested.

Roadmap

Compostable outer packaging

Migration of outer mailers to a certified-compostable substrate. Pending sourcing review — the cold-chain insulation must still hold to the published transit window, so a like-for-like swap is not yet viable.

Roadmap

Vial-recycle programme

Pre-paid return-mailer for spent vials and stoppers, processed through a laboratory-glass recycler. Pending evaluation of the postage-emissions trade-off versus local glass recycling.

Roadmap · no date

Carbon-neutral certification

A formal third-party carbon-neutral certification — not just an offset purchase — requires a verified emissions inventory we have not yet completed. We will not claim this label until the audit is signed.

Roadmap · no date

B-Corp pathway

B-Corp certification is an interesting fit for a small EU operator with our values, but the assessment is multi-quarter work. We are reading and scoping. We are not a B-Corp.

Roadmap

Halal certification of supply

Synthetic peptides have no animal-derived input by route, but a halal-certified supply chain still requires a documented certificate from the manufacturer’s side. We are requesting that documentation. We do not claim halal status until the certificate is in our hands.

Idea stage

Education partnerships

Discounted research-quantity pricing for accredited university research groups. Conceptually drafted; not yet a programme. Reach out via the contact page if you would like to be notified when it opens.

Idea stage

Research-grant fund

A small ring-fenced budget to underwrite peptide-handling methodology work that does not have a commercial sponsor. Sketched only. Funding source and governance are not in place.

Anti-greenwashing pledge

What we will not do.

We will not claim certifications we do not hold. We are not B-Corp, not carbon-neutral certified, not halal-certified at supply, and not vegan-certified — and we will not display any of those marks on this site, on packaging, or in marketing material until a corresponding audit has been signed and the certificate is on file.

We will not blur the line between “today” and “roadmap.” Aspirational items above are clearly labelled. If they move into current practice, the section heading is where the change will be made — with the date.

We will not claim a single supplier audit speaks for the entire industry. When we describe supplier audits as reporting “no animal testing,” we mean the audits we have read, on the suppliers we have used. We say the source rather than implying a sector-wide guarantee.

We will not use language like “eco,” “green,” or “clean” as decoration. If a practice reduces a measurable input — transit kilometres, packaging mass, energy — we describe what changed and by how much. Otherwise we leave the slogan off.

If a claim on this page does not match what arrived in your parcel, or if you have read a supplier audit that contradicts a statement above, please tell us. Our preference is to correct the page rather than defend it.
