FAQ

Questions before you order.

Shipping, research-use positioning, payment flow and ordering — the essentials, answered cleanly.

Research & Safety

What you’re actually buying.

Are these compounds for research only?

Yes. Every compound on this site is presented strictly for laboratory research. No medical claims, no human-use guidance, no therapeutic positioning. By placing an order you confirm research-use intent.

How is quality assured?

Clean sourcing, limited-run batches and consistent purity across restocks. We keep the catalog tight on purpose — the smaller the line, the tighter the control.

Why do some items take 14–21 days to ship?

Items marked Fresh batch are produced after you order rather than pulled from long-term inventory. This means verse lyophilised material, maximum stability, and a batch-specific COA for your order. Full reasoning on the Fresh batch page.

How do I know if a compound is in-stock or fresh-batch before I order?

Every compound page shows a stock indicator per variant: green “In stock” means next-business-day dispatch, amber “Fresh batch” means the 14–21 day lead time. The shop and category pages show the same indicator at product level.

What happens if my cart has both in-stock and fresh-batch items?

We ship the full order together in one cold-chain parcel once the fresh batch is ready (single tracking, fewer temperature excursions). If you need the in-stock items sooner, place them as a separate order.

What’s inside each vial?

Each vial contains the compound at the stated milligram strength as lyophilised powder. No fillers, no proprietary blends. Reconstitution and handling are the researcher’s responsibility.

Do you share batch documentation?

Batch-level documentation is available on request once an order is confirmed. Contact support through the channel confirmed in your order email.

Shipping & Packaging

How the order arrives.

Where do you ship?

EU-wide. Tracked dispatch with discreet packaging, fast transit across the Eurozone.

How long does transit take?

Most EU destinations arrive within a few business days of dispatch. Tracking is included in the order confirmation email.

How is the order packaged?

Neutral outer packaging with no branding visible. Internal padding protects the vials during transit.

Can you ship outside the EU?

Default shipping is EU-only. For research institutions outside the EU, contact support to assess whether an exception is feasible.

Payment & Checkout

How payment works.

Which payment methods are supported?

Checkout is handled through Mollie — standard EU methods are available at checkout (iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA, credit & debit cards among others).

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Payment is processed on Mollie’s PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. No card data touches this site — we only receive a confirmation that payment completed.

What shows up on my bank statement?

A neutral descriptor from our processor. No compound or category details appear on the line item.

Ordering & Variants

How strengths and quantities work.

What do the strength variants mean?

Each variant lists the milligram amount of compound in one vial (for example, 5 mg / 10 mg / 20 mg). Higher strengths often carry better per-milligram pricing — visible live in the price block on each compound page.

How many vials can I order at once?

Up to ten vials of a single variant per order through the standard flow. For larger research quantities, contact support ahead of ordering.

What if a compound is out of stock?

The stock indicator on each compound page reflects live availability. Restocks are irregular — if a compound disappears from the catalog it may return on a later batch, or it may be retired.

What’s your return policy?

Because these are research compounds, returns are limited to shipping errors or damaged-in-transit cases. Contact support within seven days of delivery with photos and the order reference.

For new visitors

If you just landed on the site.

Quick orientation for first-time arrivals — what we sell, who we are, and how to read the rest of the site.

What does TogoPeptide actually sell?

Research-grade peptide compounds for laboratory study. Each vial ships with a batch-specific COA. We do not sell finished medicines, and we do not provide dosing or therapeutic guidance.

I have never bought a research compound before — where do I start?

Read the Peptide research 101 primer first — it covers research-grade material, HPLC, COAs, reconstitution and storage in one page. The research-frame language guide explains the vocabulary you will see across the site.

Is this legal in the Netherlands / EU?

Yes, when sold and bought as research-use material. The legal status hinges on intent: research compounds are reagents, not medicines. The research-use page covers the legal framing in detail.

Why are some prices in euro and others in different units?

Prices are in euro by default. The header language switcher will translate copy into ten languages; currency presentation follows the locale. Vial strength is always milligrams.

I am not sure this is for me — can I just look around?

Yes. The research hub is the entry point for browsing without a cart in mind — categories, mechanism overviews, and links to every primer.

For new orderers

First time placing an order.

What happens between “add to cart” and the parcel arriving.

What information do I need to provide at checkout?

Email, shipping address, and a research-use confirmation. Payment routes through Mollie so card details never touch our servers. We do not request identification documents for personal-research orders.

How do I know which vial strength to pick?

Every product page lists available strengths in milligrams. The reconstitution calculator shows the resulting concentration for any combination of vial mass and bacteriostatic-water volume. We do not recommend strengths — that is set by the protocol you intend to study.

When will my order ship and arrive?

In-stock items dispatch the next business day. Fresh-batch items ship 14–21 days after order, because the batch is synthesised after you order. Orders mixing both ship together once the fresh batch is ready — details on the fresh-batch page.

What does the parcel look like — will neighbours see what is inside?

Plain-box, no compound branding on the outside. Cold packs and insulation are inside. The label shows TNF Business as the sender; nothing on the exterior identifies the contents.

My first order opened with a fogged or warm cold pack — is the material okay?

Lyophilized peptides are robust against short room-temperature excursions. Cold-chain is a margin-of-safety, not a strict requirement for unopened lyo material. If the lyophilized cake itself looks visibly damaged (melted, cracked or discoloured), photograph it and contact support before reconstitution.

For repeat customers

If you have ordered before.

Account features, restocks, and the things repeat researchers actually ask about.

Do you keep my address and preferences for re-orders?

Yes — if you have a TogoPeptide account, your address book, language and currency preferences persist across orders. The account dashboard shows order history, COA archive, and the profile-completion meter that speeds up checkout.

Can I download the COA from a previous order?

Yes. Account holders see the COA archive linked from each historical order. If you ordered as a guest, contact support with the order reference and we will resend the COA tied to that batch.

Will the next batch be the same as the one I had before?

Same compound, same supplier, same QC criteria. Batch-specific COAs will differ on numbers (each batch is independently tested) but the purity floor is constant: we reject batches below our minimum specification before they reach inventory.

I want to be notified when a fresh-batch compound restocks — how?

Each compound page has a “notify on restock” option. The notifications are batch-aware — you receive one email per actual restock, not per status flicker.

Loyalty — do repeat orders unlock anything?

The loyalty page covers the recognition tiers. Discounts, when they apply, are visible at the cart summary — we do not run hidden incentives.

For B2B / institutional

If you are ordering for a research group.

Bulk orders, invoicing, and what we can and cannot supply at institutional volume.

Do you support bulk orders for research groups or labs?

Yes. The bulk-order page takes a structured request: compound list, quantity, target arrival window. We respond with a quote, lead time and a draft proforma invoice within two business days.

Can I receive a proforma invoice for our purchasing department?

Yes. Institutional orders ship with a proforma in advance and a finalised invoice on dispatch. TNF Business is the legal seller; the KvK registration and applicable invoice lines are on every document.

Bank transfer instead of card — possible?

Yes for institutional volume orders. SEPA bank transfer is supported through the bulk-order workflow. Smaller orders go through Mollie (iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA, card).

Can you ship to a research institute address with a purchase-order reference?

Yes. Provide the PO reference at the bulk-order request stage and it will appear on the proforma, the invoice and the shipping label.

Can you provide bulk amounts of compounds we do not see in the catalog?

Sometimes. We curate the catalog deliberately, but specific custom synthesis requests are reviewed case by case. Send the compound name (or sequence), required mass and target lead time through the bulk-order workflow.
